First, Brett Hull, Patrick Poulin and Dan Kordic were sent to Winnipeg (Wolves). In return, the Corinthians receive left winger Geoff Sanderson, defenseman David Wilkie, and center Sebastien Bordeleau. "Hull and Poulin just weren't doing it here, Hull had been complaining all season that he wanted to play on a first line, not second or third", said GM Marc Hebert. Next, the Corinthians traded young goaltender Patrick Lalime and RW David Emma to the Struer Norsemen for goaltender Chris Rogles and right winger Jean-Francois Jomphe. "We needed a rw to fill the hole left by Hull and J.F. will be it, Lalime had 4 starts and played extremely bad. This is a vote of confidence we give to Philippe De Rouville and I'm sure he'll be up to the task. He's our number 1." For some time, don't expect too many moves from Kingston. GM Marc Hebert said he was done trading for some time. But don't count on that too much, we've often seen unexpected moves from M.Hebert. The team the Corinthians will put on the ice for their next game will have 5 players that played the WHL2 opening game in it, and 15 that weren't even with the organisation at the beginning of the season. The 5 that saw game 1 in Kingston are Sundin, Primeau, Friesen, Kron and Fiset. - Luc Gelinas pour Sports 30
