Scoring for the Quakers were Bobby Holik and Brian Bellows who notched a pair. However, it was a three goal third period by the Mallrats which erased the Quakers lead. Ron Hextall looked weak in his bid to win the starting goaltending job. Coach Johnson commented, "The team as a whole still has some work to do, especially on penalty killing." Craig Billington will get the start in the third preseason game and most experts believe that a strong outing will assure him the starting job. Coach Johnson will be mixing up the roster as players battle for the final few playing spots. In response to trade rumors surrounding Jaromir Jagr, GM Henry responded by saying, "It would take a superstar and maybe more to pry Jagr away from the Quakers." However, trade talks are continuing with many teams around the league. - Scott Gunn Pittsburgh News Todd R.
