DES MOINES (AP)~~ The Des Moines Dominators racked up their second win in a row today with an impressive win over the Kazoos. The Dominators fell behind early in the first but owned the second and third period winning 6-1. The front line of Modano, Stevens and Renberg clicked in this game. Modano had two goals and an assist, while Stevens had a goal and an assist and Renberg had two assists. Jari Kurri added another goal bringing his total to four in two games. The rookies once again played very good, with David Ling getting his second goal and Craig Fisher and Jason Botterill each added an assist. This was a very wild game with five fights. Rob Zettler dropped them twice, once with Jason Arnott and once with Todd Bertuzzi but the main event was when rookie Jason Botterill dropped his gloves with a vertern fighter Wendell Clark. Mike Richter once again was just phenominal in net once again saving 27 of 28 shots. Though only two games into the season the Dominators look very impressive and are hoping to be a force in the WHL. DOMINATORS NEWS: GM Jason Kolsrud said as of right now he does not want to make any changes to his team as they are playing just about perfect hockey.
